I, the undersigned Jazz Joy and Roy fan, ask that you consider adding or delegating the addition of Jazz Joy and Roy to your  syndication line up.

I feel the Jazz Joy and Roy syndicated show is worthy of a fair and reasonable opportunity to net the Westwood One Network successful ratings.  It is my concern that, given the amount of time it normally takes a syndicated show to bond with each new market, Jazz Joy and Roy with Roy Gray should be awarded a written agreement that encompasses a full and fair amount of time to effectively compete.

Already pulling better solid numbers, Jazz Joy and Roy, a typically late-night show, is being presented to you in hopes that this petition will represent to you the commitment of the public in support of Jazz Joy and Roy as a Westwood One Network program.

Westwood One clearly believed in Roy Gray enough to pay Roy Gray as a “potential star” several years ago.  The recent success of Jazz Joy and Roy with Roy Gray only further proves that Westwood One knows talent.

The Jazz Joy and Roy syndicated show can be a viable resource for Westwood One if you allow the program to capitalize on the current listener momentum the show is enjoying in the U.S. and overseas.

Jazz Joy and Roy is destined to morph into one of Westwood One’s proverbial corporate cash cows, if produced, marketed and distributed with the incredible tools that have made Westwood One tops in the industry.

I ask Westwood One to not allow a poor economy to cause a hasty decision that in the end will cost Westwood One money and listeners, if the syndication rights to this valuable syndication property go to an inferior, but formidable Westwood One competitor.
